Hi there, I am Steve Bishop owner, operator of Christchurch Roof Painting Ltd. First of all I would like to thank you. I am a proud father of 5 amazing girls Maiah, Jaya, Aleisha, Nikita and Stevie-Rose. Everything I do is for them.

Family is important to me as I’m a family Man. When I’m not working I like to go fishing, mountain biking, a walk though the bush and down to the local speedway track. I love keeping in shape and eating healthy with my five girls, they keep me grounded. I started roofing back in 1999 when I was 19 as a concrete roof tile labourer and started doing apprenticeship. By the age of 24, I was running a crew of 5.

I am highly experienced in concrete roof tiling having proven track record. I wanted to learn iron roofing so set out and met a guy Tony who was a veteran. I spent 3yrs with him and he taught me a lot to do with iron roofing. In 2009 work slowed up and I started roof restoration and roof painting. And it’s something I always enjoy bringing an old roof back to life. I treat every roof as it is my own roof and take a lot of pride in my workmanship and have eyes for details.
